Funeral services for Arthur A.C. Dover, 89, of Alto, will be Sunday February 17th, 2019 at 2pm at the Missionary Baptist Church in Alto. A visitation will be held Saturday February 16th from 6-8pm at the O.T. Allen and Son funeral home in Alto. Mr. Dover died Thursday February 14th, 2019 in Rusk, Texas. He was born October 5th, 1929 in Alto, Texas to Joiner and Bessie Land Dover. He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, parents, brothers J.C. Dover, Leldon Dover, Feldon Dover, sisters Odell Hester, Nadine Partlow, and Fay Few, grandchildren Jessica and Benjamin. He is survived by his sons and daughters in law Dennis and Sheri Dover of Shelbyville, Tx, Jack and Sharon Dover of Kingwood, Tx, Eddy and Lisa Dover of Centerville, Tx; daughters and sons in law Carol Heagy of Alto, Tx, Jill and Wayne Peagues of Alto, Tx, Jan and Wayne Toppe of Liberty, Tx, Sandra and Layne Gowdy of Abilene, Tx; brother Larry Dover of Alto, Tx, sister Dovie Whitaker of Cushing, Tx; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
