Agnes Lucille Reno Weches - A graveside funeral services for Agnes Lucille Reno, 89, of Weches will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 11, 2016 at the Weches Cemetery with Rev. Frankie Doucette officiating. Mrs. Reno passed away Saturday, October 8th day, in Lufkin, Texas. She was born December 2nd, 1926 in Albertville, Alabama to Russell and Katie Taylor. She was a Protestant and a homemaker and had lived in Weches for many years. She was a Christian who often spoke to her children often about God. She worked very hard as a young girl on her parents farm, ploughing with a mule, chopping wood and picking cotton. She was preceded in death by sons Walter Reno and Robby Reno, brother Ernest Taylor and sister Beatrice Taylor. Survivors include husband Gilbert O. Reno of Weches, sons Billy Reno (Virginia) of New Caney and Eldon Reno (Maria) of Ratcliff, daughter Virgie Brann (Tommy) of Huntington, brother William Taylor (Ester) of Mexia, sisters Jet Knight, Ollie Knight and Edna Brewer of Alabama as well as 29 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren. There will be a family visitation, Monday October 10th, from 6-8PM at the funeral home in Alto.
