Funeral services for Agnes Adelle Bobo, 90, of Douglass, will be Friday, December 21st, at 2:00 PM in the First Baptist Church in Douglass with Rev. Randy Arnold and Bro. John McGuire officiating. Visitation will be at the church Friday starting at 1 PM. Mrs. Bobo died Wednesday, December 19th in Douglass. She was born September 30th, 1928 in Red Flat, Texas to Grady D and Ada N. Byrd Furra. Mrs. Bobo lived most of her life in Douglass and was a member of the 1st Baptist Church for many years where she taught Sunday School, Vacation Bible School and had also served as custodian. She is preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Melvin O. Bobo, Sr., Son Melvin O. Bobo, Jr., grandson David Bobo, great granddaughter Brookelan Ann Heckman and 2 sisters. Mrs. Bobo is survived by sons Jerry Bobo and wife Susan of Nacogdoches and Perry Bobo and wife Richie Ann of Hallsville, sister Audrey Faye Taylor of San Augustine, daughter-in-law Diane Bobo of Douglass, 9 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Michael Bobo, Mark Bobo, Matthew Bobo, Jason Bobo, Jeremy Bobo and Wesley Pietruszaka. Honorary pallbearers will be James Bobo and Hunter Hollis.
