Addie Helen was born on March 17, 1936, to the late Mr. Add Pope and Mrs. Annie Laura Ross Pope in Cherokee County.

She was the proud mother to Clemmie Pope Ramsey, Clinton "Nick" Pope, Lane Pope, and Bernice Pope Milton.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Add and Annie Laura Pope; sisters: Lucille Pope, Ardie D. Thacker, Essie B. Thacker, and Zeffie D. Mumphrey; brothers: Joe Pope, A.F. Pope, J.T. Pope, and Emery Pope; son: Clinton "Nick" Pope; and her grandson: David Latrell Milton.

She is survived by her brother: Jack Pope; daughters: Clemmie Pope Ramsey and Bernice Pope Milton; son: Lane Pope; granddaughters: Felicia Pope, Aerion Ramsey, and Mariah Richard; grandsons: Lane Cordell Pope, Emmanuel Dayshon Milton, Kentavious Milton, and Montario Richard; great-grandchildren; baby sister (Patna): Vertie Martin; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives.
